LAWSON STANFORD LAWYERS

Our Fees

At Lawson Stanford Lawyer, we are upfront about our fees and provide ongoing cost updates and estimates to our clients, which mean your legal costs will be clear at every stage of your matter so that you can enjoy our legal service confidently.

Your legal costs will generally include our professional fees for carrying out the legal work and, where applicable, disbursements and internal expenses.

  • Disbursements are out-of-pocket expenses we paid to third parties on your behalf during your matter and then passed on to you. These may include court filing fees, search fees, barristers’ fees, and expert fees.
  • Internal expenses are our own administrative or practice-related costs, separate from our professional fees, such as travel or printing where required.

Fixed Professional Fee Solutions

Where appropriate, we offer fixed-fee legal solution for a range of common legal matters. This is intended to provide greater certainty and transparency in relation to the costs of your matter.

Please find below a list of our minimum professional fees for certain services. We are open about costs, so please do not hesitate to contact us for further information about our fee model.

Hourly Rate Professional Fees

Where a fixed professional fee arrangement is not suitable for your matter, we charge professional fees based on hourly rates for the work performed.

The legal practitioners and staff who will assist you, together with their applicable hourly rates, will be set out in your Costs Disclosure and Costs Agreement.

The Costs Disclosure and Costs Agreement is an important document that outlines the scope of our work, our fee structure, and billing arrangements. We generally require clients to review, sign, and return this document before we commence work on their matter, unless there are urgent circumstances requiring immediate assistance.

Comparable fees

We will provide each client with a suitable lawyer or team based on the complexity, ensuring that our client receive cost-effective legal service. Where appropriate, you may also choose a lawyer with the level of expertise you require based on your financial position.

Our lawyers’ hourly rates reflect their experience, seniority, and expertise. We aim to ensure our fees remain competitive with those of other law firms, while maintaining a high standard of service and quality of work.
